Having anxiety and stress can have a negative impact on your life in many ways. The following are a few examples of issues hypnotherapy can help with:
Panic Attacks –
Having a panic attack can be an extremely frightening experience. For some people it can start for seemingly no reason but the fear of having another can become overwhelming and can even trigger another panic attack. Hypnotherapy for panic attacks can put you in control again and give you strategies and tools to keep them away.
Generalised Anxiety Disorder is becoming increasingly common in today’s busy, stressful lives. One of the main features of it is excessive worrying – “What if it goes wrong?”, “What if i’m really ill”, “What if I can’t do it?” etc. Anxiety isn’t just a horrible feeling people get. It can effect every area of your life – your work, your relationships with your partner or your children, your friends. It can stop you doing the things in life that you want to do. It can stop you enjoying life! It can make you eat too much, smoke too much or drink too much. You can turn that around completely. Hypnotherapy for anxiety helps people every single day. My “Take Control of Anxiety Programme” includes a full anxiety and depression assessment, clearing out any baggage of the past that’s holding you back and refocus you, make sure you have the information and tools you need to build your resilience and make sure the changes stick
Agoraphobia is an intense fear and anxiety of being in place where it’s hard to escape from or where help might not be available. Hypnotherapy for agoraphobia can help turn your life around and give you the strength to get your life back
I offer a quality service from my office in Ayrshire, online or in the comfort of your own home. I use a combination of Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC) and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) skills to support you make the changes you want. I’ve trained with the best (Paul McKenna, Claire Jack, Richard Bandler, Cathy Simmons, Ali Campbell, John Dewar etc.) and I want to use my knowledge and skills to make a difference to your life. If you are serious about succeeding, get in touch and claim your free initial 30 minute phone consultation to chat about how I can help you
Finding out you pregnant can be a very emotional time. Along with the joy and excitement comes the fear of the labour, how you will cope?, what kind of birth will you have? and many more questions. Taking part in a KGHypnobirthing course helps answer those questions and makes sure you are as prepared as you possibly can be for the birth of your baby.
Have you had enough of feeling anxious and constantly worrying? Anxiety can impact on every area of your life – it can affect your work, your family life, your relationships, your hobbies and even stop you enjoying things you used to enjoy.
Stress is the adverse reaction people have to excessive pressure or other types of demands placed on them. There is a clear distinction between pressure, which can create a ‘buzz’ and be a motivating factor, and stress which can occur when this pressure becomes excessive” (Health and Safety Executive).
Becoming smoke-free is not as difficult as you might think. I have trained in Smoking Cessation with Cathy Simmons, Top London Hypnotherapist, using The Simmons Method, a science based programme which has successfully helped thousands of people become free from smoking all over the UK .
The term “obese” describes a person who’s very overweight, with a lot of body fat. It’s a common problem in the UK that’s estimated to affect around one in every four adults and around one in every five children aged 10 to 11.
Obesity can reduce your overall quality of life. It also creates a strain on health services and leads to premature death due to its association with serious chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidaemia, which are all major risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
Finding out you have cancer is devastating. It impacts on every area of your life and coping with cancer and the emotional effects of this massive change in your life, as well as the side effects of treatment, can be overwhelming. Going through cancer treatment can lead to anxiety, stress, depression, fear and loss of control. Cancer affects everyone’s life differently and while hypnotherapy does not cure cancer, (if you have any signs and symptoms of cancer you should contact your GP without delay), it can be effective in helping you cope with the symptoms and side effects of treatment. Hypnotherapy can also help friends and relatives cope with the emotional effects on them.
Have you been suffering with pain for a while? Pain is there to protect us. It’s a message from our brain that we need to do something. NEW pain protects you. An example of this is when you put your hand on a very hot object. The pain tells you to move your hand…. quickly….. so you don’t get badly burned. OLD pain is a message in your mind that’s no longer needed once it’s done its job of alerting you to the problem.
Phobies and fears
Fear is a natural response caused by real danger. A phobia, on the other hand, is an irrational fear of an object or situation that causes little or no danger. Phobias are linked to our subconscious mind, and because they are irrational, they can often be dealt with effectively. The list of phobias is long and some of them seem very strange (e.g phobia of tomato soup, beans etc.). Often the person knows the phobia is irrational but still struggles to do anything about it.
